It is important to note that we are not a bilingual school like many other international schools in Stockholm. Our curriculum is taught in English, which is just another reason that makes us special! In addition to this we support and develop Swedish with our Swedish language lessons. 

According to regulations from Skolverket our school is primarily for children who have a need for international education, these are the initial criteria: 

- the child is resident in Sweden only for a limited time,

- the child has gone to school abroad for a long time and wants to finish his education in Sweden,

- there is reasonable reason to assume that the child will leave Sweden for a longer period time, or

- the child has the school's language of instruction as a daily language of communication with one or both the guardians and sufficient knowledge of the language to follow the teaching ( English )

Places should be given in first hand to these children and others subject to spaces. 

The Tanto International School has its own queue system and operates a sibling-priority routine.  There are no entrance exams related to admissions. 

Once you have applied, you will be contacted as soon as a place becomes available for your child.

By completing an application form through Admentum, your information will be placed in our system. we will then be in contact with you to follow up with you. There is a waiting list fee of 200kr to remain in the queue.
